After two weeks of stop with eight players out for covid this will be second match in three days for hosts that on Thursday travelled in Italy with only 14 players available.

Rijeka come into this match after a difficult Europa League match in Naples where they lost 2-0 to Napoli. The hosts are hit hard by a coronavirus, and they had to play in Naples without no less than eight players. The situation is not much better ahead of this match either.

Rijeka have played just 8 games in the league this season, as some of their matches have been postponed due to coronavirus. It is a real question who will be in Rijeka’s starting XI on Sunday. Osijek under Nenad Bjelica are the best side in Croatia. Last week they beat leaders Dinamo 2-0. Then they had to play away to Osijek and it was the first time since Bjelica took over that they were goal down. This goal just gave them strength and eventually, they won 4-1.

At the moment the visitors are at the top of the league and in the best form. They do not play European competition, so can fully focus on the Croatian Football League. Osijek don’t have problems with absences if we don’t count some long-term absentees.

The odds against the Osijek’s win are excellent and we expect them to fall by Sunday. Definitely, there is value in backing Osijek.

More, also if Rijieka - already trashed 3-0 in september in reverse match - is first at home, Osijek has the best away performances and has no relevant absences reported on its site.

Clearly going against Wolfsberger here. Really hard schedule with all these Europa League games. They looked awful on Thursday, very tired.
